Flower 16.5"x12"

Flowers are so beautiful and so unique.
There is always one that stands out, even in a field of anemones.
I tried two things with this piece. The first was my attempt to draw a clear glass, the second is a wooden pedestal with a reflection of the glass on wood.
I left this painting on the mantle to dry. One of my daughters wanted to take the glass that was left on the mantle so it wouldn't break, without realizing that it's actually a painting of a glass. We had a great laugh over that!
